Backpack Pages Firefox Extension

This is a simple Firefox extension consisting of a toolbar button with a drop down of all the user's Backpack pages.

What's the Point?

If you use your Backpack account all the time to keep your life organized, then this Firefox extension is designed to make it easier to quickly get to your Backpack pages and add reminders. Without the extension, you have to navigate through your Backpack site, which can feel slow while you wait for pages to be rendered.

Installation Instructions

Follow these simple steps to download and install the extension:

  1. Download the extension from addons.mozilla.org.
  2. Restart Firefox.
  3. Add the extension to the toolbar by clicking View --> Toolbars --> Customize... and dragging the Backpack item to the toolbar.
  4. Right click the Backpack button and click Options.
  5. Enter your Backpack username and API key. The API key can be found at the bottom of your account page on Backpack.
  6. Right click the Backpack button and click Refresh List. Within a few seconds the button should become active and contain a list of your Backpack pages.

Updates

Firefox will periodically inform you of more recent versions.
